HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!

Today is Amy's birthday.
Spongbob Squarepants is coming to visit for her party on Saturday. He is so excited.

Summer Concerts

I've never been that into music. I mean, I like listening to the radio and buying CDs, but there are very few bands I HAVE to see in concert when they're in Buffalo. It seems like they're all coming this summer.

It all started when I found out Melissa Ethridge was playing at Madison Square Garden in NYC. My friends and I got tickets and decided that would be the only concert we'd go to this year, since tickets were expensive, and we'd have to travel to NYC.

Then we got Taste of Country tickets. They were cheap and we found some other way to justify them.

Then Dave Matthew's tickets went on sale. We said no at first. We've seen him a million times, and as great as his concerts are, we can't afford the tickets. But, they're cheaper this year than last year (by $2), so we bought tickets to that concert too.

Gina e-mailed me about the Hip. I wasn't going to go, but someone got me tickets for my birthday. I can't say no to free tickets to the Hip.

Then, one night recently, I was driving Mary home and she told me that if Kelly Clarkson ever comes to Buffalo I have to get her tickets. 2 days later Kelly Clarkson went on sale for Darien Lake. So, I'm going to that, too.

Now I just need BNL to announce they'll be here in August, and my summer will be complete.

Oh, and speaking of good music, Dennis emailed me this. It's Amelia singing Fever in the Geneseo Acapello group. She's pretty amazing.
